Bio

I firmly believe the state of your physical health begins with your mental health. My passion for psychiatry is driven by facilitating meaningful and lasting change in my patients’ lives. I believe in a collaborative approach to creating personalized treatment plans for patients by using a combination of medication, therapy, and lifestyle recommendations. I am a compassionate and empathetic provider and offer a welcoming environment for open communication and expression. I understand the importance of mental health and want my patients to know they are not alone.

I am a state-licensed and nationally board-certified Physician Assistant. I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. I completed my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Dubuque in Iowa. During my studies, I received training in psychiatry, addiction medicine, women’s health, internal medicine, family medicine, and emergency medicine. I am skilled in working with a variety of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and sleep disorders. I take pride in working in the field of psychiatry. I understand the impact mental health has on overall well-being and quality of life.
