Empowering my clients to expand their awareness of what is possible for them is at the core of my practice. Life is not easy, and seeking help can be overwhelming, even frightening. I commend you and encourage you to take a moment to celebrate your first steps toward making your health and well-being a priority!
No matter who you are or where you came from, we all face challenges that can feel daunting to face alone. We often turn into our harshest critics instead of our greatest allies with these challenges. I encourage my clients to turn inward and allow ourselves grace, patience, and kindness just as we would a dear friend.
As a social worker, my therapeutic style is client-centered, empathetic, and warm. I believe the best therapeutic relationships stem from a combination of being a leader and a follower to promote client change as I practice unconditional positive regard for everyone I work with.
In my practice, I focus on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and client empowerment. I believe every person is unique, and no one approach fits everyone. I have a history of helping clients of all ages, diverse walks of life, and a broad range of life challenges, both internally and externally. ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Self Esteem, sudden life changes, and relationship issues are just a small handful of the unique internal issues I have assisted clients in managing.
I aim to individualize all treatment plans to best suit your individuality and guide you to unlock the tools you need to be the best version of yourself.
