I understand that sometimes the decision to begin therapy isn’t an easy one. Part of that decision is identifying a therapist that is right for you. My name is Brittany and I am a licensed professional counselor who has worked in various settings and gained much experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign. I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University Chicago.
As a licensed therapist, I partner with individuals who have made the decision to confront limiting beliefs and grow beyond them. Throughout this partnership I use interventions such as Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, DBT and CBT to explore areas such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder and substance use.
I believe that everyone’s journey to healing is unique. In the therapeutic setting it is my goal to create a safe space where participants can feel empowered and supported throughout their process of healing.
