Life presents so many challenges and it can be difficult to navigate alone. Having someone to confide in who can understand what we’re feeling can help bring clarity to our most challenging experiences and emotions. I find my ability to listen without judgment and truly hear what my clients are saying allows me to help them find strength and support to face their challenges head-on.
My primary goal when meeting a client for the first time is to create a trusting, safe, non-judgmental environment. I focus on understanding what is impacting the client and bringing them to my care. I mainly conduct psychological testing, which allows me to combine my knowledge and understanding of their experience, symptoms, and history with psychological measures that can help solidify a treatment focus for the client and other providers they may be working with. I have a special interest in whole-body health acknowledging that our emotional health does not exist and cannot progress without addressing physical health and providing recommendations to help clients achieve their best selves.
I have over 10 years of experience conducting psychological testing and providing therapy to clients across the life span. I have experience working with clients and families in multiple settings. I have consulted with clients in assisted living centers and students with special education needs in addition to traditional mental health clinics. I tailor my psychological reports and recommendations to each client’s needs. My goal is to provide clarification and direction in an often confusing and sometimes paralyzing time.
