We all cross different paths in life, and, at times, we need a helping hand to guide us forward. Mental health is a critical component of one’s overall health which may impact overall mood, relationships, work performance, motivation, and sleep. As a provider, I strive to destigmatize the need to seek treatment for mental conditions. I want to help my patients navigate the steps to achieve mental wellness by working through complex emotions and traumatic experiences, challenging negative thinking patterns, implementing new coping techniques, and managing medication if needed.
My core belief is to practice with a holistic, culturally sensitive approach with the dedication to empathetically understand my patients. I strive to create a non-judgmental and warm environment which supplements meaningful conversation. During our appointment, I want to collaborate with you to create an individualized treatment plan discussing short and long term goals and expectations.
I am a state licensed and nationally board-certified Physician Assistant. My deep-rooted passion for psychiatry led me to earn my Bachelor of Science in psychology and biology. Following this, I obtained my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the Concordia University Wisconsin. During my clinical experience, I had the privilege of working with a diverse group of patients with various cultural, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. My focus is towards treating a wide variety of psychiatric conditions including ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, generalized anxiety disorder, PTSD, and social anxiety.
