Our Mokena, IL Clarity Clinic location offers both Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs. These therapeutic programs are crafted to offer group-based treatment options for individuals contending with acute psychiatric symptoms or grappling with mental health disorders.
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides more intensive treatment than our IOP. Participants attend group treatment sessions for four hours a day, five days a week, allowing participants to return home or to a supportive environment outside of treatment hours. PHP offers a higher level of support and structure than IOP. In addition to the mandatory 20 hours of weekly group sessions, participants in the PHP program must allocate extra time for individual therapy, treatment planning sessions, family/support persons therapy as advised, and psychiatric monitoring.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (PHP) involves participants attending group treatment sessions for three hours a day, three to five days a week depending on the participant's assessed needs. Participants can return home or to a supportive environment outside of treatment hours. In addition to the required 9-15 hours per week of group sessions, the IOP program necessitates allocating extra time for individual therapy and optional medication management.

At Clarity Clinic Mokena, our PHP and IOP Programs are dedicated to providing essential mental health support, aiming to stabilize individuals with comprehensive psychiatric and therapeutic care. We emphasize the teaching of coping skills and strategies for managing recurrences, supporting individuals in their journey toward wellness. These programs serve as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization, providing a step-up for those needing extra support without the intensity of acute care. Additionally, they serve as a step-down from acute care, enabling individuals to access necessary support while staying connected to their communities and support systems.
Our Mokena Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides a more comprehensive level of care compared to our IOP Program. Our PHP Program takes place from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, 20 hours per week. Depending on personal situations, it is often recommended for individuals to contemplate temporarily stepping away from academic or professional obligations to focus on their mental health treatment. Our patients actively participate in daily group and individual therapy sessions led by our licensed therapists.
In addition to the 20-hours a week of group work that this program requires, PHP will also require participants to set aside additional time for individual therapy, treatment planning sessions, family/support persons therapy as recommended, and psychiatric monitoring.
On your first day, you'll meet your treatment team, get acquainted with the program, and gain an understanding of the treatment process. You'll also participate in group sessions and receive details about the program's structure, weekly schedules, and upcoming activities. Please note that grab-and-go meals will be available for your convenience during group sessions.
The duration of PHP treatment varies depending on individual progress, with the aim usually being to transition to IOP, which offers a less intensive level of behavioral health care.
Our Mokena Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers essential support for individuals facing mental health hurdles. At Clarity Clinic, our PHP program provides a structured and nurturing environment where individuals can undergo intensive therapy and treatment while maintaining their daily routines. Tailored to meet individual needs, PHP delivers personalized care through a combination of group therapy, individual counseling, optional medication management, and skill-building exercises.
Going beyond the scope of traditional outpatient therapy, PHP provides enhanced support, enabling patients to confront their mental health challenges within a therapeutic framework while returning home each day. Serving as a crucial milestone in the journey to recovery, PHP empowers individuals to cultivate coping mechanisms, bolster resilience, and establish a robust foundation for sustained mental wellness.

Clarity Clinic's Mokena Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a short term treatment approach with sessions lasting three hours per day from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm, three to five days per week depending on the participant's assessed needs. Patients can prioritize their mental health while still managing work, school, and daily responsibilities at home.
In addition to the structured 9-15 hours a week of group work that this program requires, IOP will also require participants to set aside additional time for individual therapy, treatment planning sessions, family/support persons therapy as recommended, and psychiatric monitoring.

Our Mokena Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) presents numerous benefits for those in need of mental health assistance. In our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), patients can maintain their daily schedules, including work, school, and family responsibilities, while benefiting from comprehensive therapeutic support. The structured sessions of IOP foster a supportive environment for addressing mental health challenges, integrating individual therapy, group therapy, and skill-building activities.
This program equips individuals with coping strategies, enriches their support network through group engagement, and fosters a sense of belonging. Additionally, IOP serves as a crucial phase in the recovery journey, bridging the transition between intensive treatment settings and independent living, while providing ongoing support and strategies for preventing relapse.

At Clarity Clinic, we recognize the uniqueness of each individual's mental health journey and objectives. Our devoted team is dedicated to helping you choose the treatment program that best fits your specific needs.
When you express interest in our Mokena PHP/IOP services, our intake coordinators will conduct a thorough evaluation lasting between 60 to 90 minutes. Following this assessment, you will receive a comprehensive evaluation report outlining expert recommendations on the most suitable treatment approach for you.
As treatment progresses, programs can be adjusted from PHP to IOP or vice versa to ensure they continue to meet your evolving needs.

Clarity Clinic Mokena stands out as an ideal destination for completing PHP and IOP programs because we offer:

The difference between a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (PHP) is that PHP provides a more intensive treatment and level of care than an IOP, typically requiring individuals to take a break from work or school. In contrast, IOP is less intensive, allowing individuals to maintain their daily routines while attending group sessions for a few hours several times per week.
With a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), participants attend group treatment sessions for four hours a day, five days a week, allowing participants to return home or to a supportive environment outside of treatment hours. In addition to the 20-hours a week of group work that this program requires, PHP will also require participants to set aside additional time for individual therapy, treatment planning sessions, family/support persons therapy as recommended, and psychiatric monitoring.
Clarity Clinic's Intensive Outpatient Program (PHP) involves participants attending group treatment sessions for three hours a day, three to five days a week depending on the participant's assessed needs. This allows participants to return home or to a supportive environment outside of treatment hours. In addition to the structured 9-15 hours a week of group work that this program requires, IOP will also require participants to set aside additional time for individual therapy and optional medication management.
Both PHP and IOP programs aim to stabilize individuals in need of additional mental health support by providing comprehensive psychiatric and therapeutic care, teaching coping skills and recurrence management strategies, and supporting individuals in their wellness journey. These programs offer an alternative to inpatient hospitalization and serve as either a step-up for individuals who require additional support but do not necessitate the intensity of an acute care setting, or as a step-down from an acute care setting, allowing individuals to receive the support they need while maintaining connections to their communities and support networks.
