My goal for each client is to provide individualized treatment plans while offering an understanding and non-judgmental space to all clients, regardless of their background and beliefs. My interest peaked in Psychiatry while working at a Chicago community hospital on a one-to one basis with suicidal and homicidal patients. I saw firsthand how empathy, compassion, and how applying a biopsychosocial and holistic approach can lead to such everlasting impacts on patient outcomes. This is what I strive to accomplish here in my practice at Clarity Clinic.
I am a licensed and nationally board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) with several years of medical experience across various settings and patient demographics. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at University of Illinois at Chicago, before I attended Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. During my clinical rotations, I gained experience in inpatient/outpatient psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, consult liaison hospital services, as well being a part of psychiatric decisional capacity team for the VA hospital in North Chicago. I have had the opportunity to work with various patients, including those struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, substance use disorder and borderline personality disorder. I understand that each patient has a diverse background and unique needs, which is why I will create personalized treatment plans that work with your current goals and circumstances in life.
