With life’s uncertainties comes a mental wellness journey that can be difficult to navigate alone. Now more than ever, mental health is being brought to the forefront of healthcare. My goal as a board-certified physician assistant is to continue this trend to make psychiatric care as important and accessible as physical healthcare in addition to serving as an advocate for my patients throughout this journey.
I strive to guide patients while they endure different situations and stages of life to achieve mental wellness. I prioritize this by fostering a relationship of compassion and mutual trust through an open and honest conversational approach. I value holistic treatment and incorporate lifestyle changes, psychotherapy, and medication as necessary. By working together as a team, we will build an individualized treatment plan by incorporating your goals, cultural beliefs, and personal preferences.
Throughout my clinical experience, I have worked in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry settings managing both acute and chronic mental health conditions in patients of all ages and backgrounds. I completed my Master of Medical Science degree at Dominican University where I received the Outstanding PA Student Award for my commitment to my patients and their evidence-based care. My specialties include but are not limited to ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, eating and sleeping disorders, substance use, and PTSD.
