I consider it an honor to walk with you during such a pivotal time in your life’s journey. There are moments in life when each of us may feel stuck. In my work, I empower individuals and help them move toward living their best life. I bring experiences as a Black man of queer identity, which help me understand the multiple layers of oppression and how multicultural backgrounds intersect. I take a client-centered and trauma-informed approach to treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, race trauma, spiritual trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues, and more.

I am a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, having earned my MA in Clinical Psychology from North Park University in Chicago. I have worked with emerging adults in helping them explore identity, and it is one of my passions. I am also passionate about working with couples and individuals. I utilize evidence-based psychotherapy approaches such as parts work, attachment work, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds. I am experienced to address issues that men of color and queer-identifying individuals face.

I fully intend that you to have a safe space to celebrate yourself and your own unique journey. To ensure that we can co-create that kind of space, in our first meeting we will discuss what brings you to therapy and answer any questions you might have. My goal is to serve your needs as best as possible and get you started on your road to healing. Join me in the journey toward deconstructing thought patterns that no longer serve you.

I look forward to walking beside you!
