I specialize in working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, and depression as well as those who are seeking support with stress management, relationship struggles, and concerns related to identity and various life and career transitions. My style in therapy is direct, yet warm, collaborative, and approachable. My approach is holistic and integrative in nature. I utilize a strength-based and positive psychology approach along with Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) strategies, meditation, mindfulness practices, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
I am a licensed professional counselor and hold a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Counseling from Roosevelt University. I have 5 years of combined academic, professional, and clinical training and counseling experience and have worked in both community mental health and private practice settings.
I aim to help clients examine their personal experiences with compassion and to discover existing barriers to wellness. I work alongside my clients to create meaningful and achievable goals and develop individualized strategies for each client to gain personal insight, experience fulfilling growth, and thrive in all areas of life.
