At the heart of the human experience lies connection – with ourselves, others, and our environment. However, within the vibrancy of human experience comes challenges through transitions, trauma, loss, or imbalance. Authenticity requires space to process, reflect and accept the importance of each dimension of self. Sometimes the most important facets are hidden within, waiting to be validated and understood.
There is only one person in the world that is an expert on your life, and that is you. My job is to offer a welcoming space and an empathetic ear to hold your emotions and experiences with the utmost respect, offering reflection and insight to deepen your understanding. As Esther Perel says, “the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives,” and whether you are seeking help for your relationship with someone else, looking for a relationship, or wanting to explore the most important relationship of all – the one with yourself – I am here to walk this journey with you.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Miami University. After working with couples, families, and singles in a professional capacity for eight years, I decided to pursue further education to help my clients more meaningfully. My passion for all forms of relationships led me to Antioch University, where I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Couple and Family Therapy. I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, an evidence-based approach that leads to increased intimacy, empathy, and satisfaction. I am also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, helping couples understand the unique intricacies of their relational dynamic.
