When unexpected life changes occur, they can be difficult to navigate on our own. Therapy provides an opportunity for overcoming obstacles, healing, and increased self-awareness.
The lens that I practice from is holistic, considering the mind, body, and spirit. I welcome your individuality and foster a non-judgmental environment. I pull from an assortment of therapeutic theories with the intent to produce a change of mind, action, behavior and belief system. Our first meeting will be a day that is about you; a day where you are able to share your most inner thoughts with a clinician who views you holistically. I understand that this may not be easy to do, so I practice patience and allow you time to become comfortable speaking with me.
I received my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Roosevelt University. I have experience working with individuals with an array of concerns including: anxiety, depression, social anxiety, adjustment issues related to employment, difficulty with establishing new or existing relationships, identity and acceptance, relationship issues, emotional irregularities and the impact on self and external relationships. Always remaining mindful of the individual, trauma focused therapy is provided upon the assessment of need. As a therapist, I utilize an eclectic framework of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
