Bio

My goal for every client is to provide an atmosphere that allows the individual to be open. I offer a space for my clients to be honest and discuss their inner feelings. My clients can gain mental, emotional, and relational stability. Reaching recovery has its obstacles but with support, goals are achieved. Utilizing CBT, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness techniques creates this therapeutic atmosphere.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I graduated from National Louis University with a Master’s in Mental Health Clinical Counseling. I gained clinical experience working with children in various settings like therapeutic schools, residential facilities, and Behavioral Health Hospital. I also possess a background working with adults in Independent Living facilities and Rehabilitation Center.

It is essential to meet the client where they are and assist them throughout their development. I believe learning about the individual first builds the rapport between the client and therapist. My ability to meet the needs of the children and adults helps me create and maintain a healthy environment that harvests strong relationships. I have experience supporting individuals that struggle with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, homicidal thoughts, adjustment disorder, self-esteem issues, and trauma.
