Bio

My interest in therapy stems from a personal goal to provide support, comfort and aid to those in need. I believe that having a reliable and encouraging environment to process daily ups and downs as well as drastic life changes can make a significant and positive difference in our lives.

I believe that each individual knows themselves the best, and therefore I aim to act as a mentor, teacher, and guidance role in my sessions. I practice a collaborative approach to work closely with the individual to create a treatment plan that best addresses each specific need. I aim to be the bridge between understanding the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My focus is to create a comfortable environment that encourages individuals to explore and process their thoughts and emotions.

I earned my bachelor’s degree at Loyola University Chicago in Psychology and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults with various issues including depression, anxiety, coping skills, and building positive self-esteem. I utilize an integrative approach consisting of cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy to assist clients in developing stronger and more positive self-concepts.
