Bio

Every now and then, life will throw obstacles and hardships our way. I believe that therapy is a process to navigate through ineffective behaviors and distorted thinking, that often stands in the way of the change you desire. Through treatment and interventions, I work closely with individuals to live more fuller and meaningful lives.

I specialize in working with a diverse client population, primarily focusing on providing treatment to adults and geriatric individuals. No one person is the same, therefore I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches based on the current needs of the individual that I am working with. I work to provide a safe space for individuals to speak freely and find a sense of balance no matter what issues they are facing.

My approach to treatment and supervision is both strength-based and collaborative to help individuals identify areas of success as well as areas for continued growth. I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), harm reduction techniques, and reality-based therapy. Drawing from several evidence-based techniques, I select treatment modalities that will yield optimal results for each person. Seeking therapy is not always easy but you have made the first step. I will be there to help guide you as you begin your journey towards better mental health and overall well-being.
