We’ve all faced challenges and obstacles that can cause us to feel overwhelmed and stuck. My goal is to support each individual in progressing out from feeling isolated, defeated, or misunderstood. I enjoy working collaboratively to establish goals, learn new behaviors and techniques, and get to know a healthier version of yourself on this healing path.
I feel that no two individuals heal in the same fashion. I strive to meet the individual where they’re at by offering unconditional support, encouragement, and motivation toward achieving life goals. I understand that it can feel intimidating to begin addressing internal conflicts through therapy; I commend the resilience of choosing to take this first step and I would be delighted to walk through the journey with you.
I’ve worked with individuals presenting with a wide range of struggles from alcohol and substance use, to personality disorders, to everyday stressors. I practice a client-centered approach by offering personalized care and an empathetic understanding as I assist you in discovering your strengths. I practice techniques from various therapeutic approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
