Throughout periods of life, we often find ourselves feeling lost, overwhelmed, or as if we are repeating the same cycles over and over again. Sometimes we don’t feel comfortable in our own bodies or we feel incapable of carrying complex, mixed, and sometimes conflicting emotions. I personally understand these cycles and the power of guided discovery, growth and healing. By using a direct evidenced-based approach, I help my clients find meaning again, break free from destructive cycles, and live their very own unique and authentic lives. My sessions are engaging, collaborative, supportive, and can even be fun! Clients can expect to be heard and challenged in my process of facilitating personal discovery, growth and lasting change.
I utilize a direct but compassionate eclectic approach to therapy. By incorporating aspects from internal family systems, cognitive behavior therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy, I can help you better understand your inner-self in order to facilitate permanent healing. I focus on the therapeutic alliance, creating a safe and supportive space for you to challenge yourself. I will help you notice, understand, honor and nurture your emotions. I understand that the client is the expert in their own life and will help you discover your path to inner-healing.
