Tara Javidan’s therapeutic background is forward focused on the treatment of anxiety. She understands that if left untreated, individuals are faced with confusing thoughts, feelings, and emotions that they do not know how to cope with. Many of her patients who have come from anxiety stricken backgrounds also suffer from other consequential mental health problems such as eating disorders, self-harm, addiction, and substance abuse. By treating eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, as well as the contributing anxieties, Tara assists patients to overcome their issues and achieve their goals. She utilizes behavioral therapy with a diverse and integrative approach which includes the practice of CBT, DBT and ACT.
