She invites her patients into a space that feels open, comfortable, warm and trusting, as she understands couples can feel unsure and vulnerable about what therapy might mean for their relationship. Maddie uses an integrative approach which involves a strength-based perspective that embraces and understands that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. With a background in intervention services, Ms. Barnes teaches couples to listen and work together to create success in their relationship and for their family.

Jackie Chavez’s prime focus and interest as a therapist is that of relationship issues. She strives to patiently and respectfully work with individuals, couples, families and children to help improve marriage and family dynamics. Jackie aims to help everyone gain insight into one another’s thoughts and emotions, and therefore teaches them how to effectively and positively communicate with each other. Jackie is passionate about not only understanding everyone in the room, but also getting everyone in the room to understand one another. When it comes to marriage counseling, she utilizes an integrative systemic approach which includes cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution focused and emotionally focused therapy to assist couples in achieving their goals and gaining success in their marriage.
