Scott Hamilton


Practicum Student
Scott Hamilton is a practicum student from Northwestern University getting a Master's in Mental Health Counseling. Scott earned a B.A. in Psychology at Illinois Wesleyan University. He has experience working with children at group homes and has provided care to geriatric populations. Scott belongs to the American Counseling Association. His past experiences and education provide him with the skills to encourage wellness and personal growth.

Scott specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Psychodynamic Therapy. He is learning techniques and skills to treat all ages, but specializes in young adult and adolescent populations struggling with anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, coping skills, self-esteem, and behavioral issues.

Scott is currently accepting new clients and can see patients who are experiencing financial difficulties or have the inability to use insurance due to privacy or high deductible. Please call for fee options.
