Nicole Carl is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Counseling at Roosevelt University and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at the State University of New York at Oswego.
Nicole has experience working with young adults and adults in a community mental health setting, where she worked with a diverse population with various different issues , including depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, mood disorders, self-esteem and stress reduction.
She believes that everyone deserves a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore and discuss challenges and stressors.
Her approach is integrative, applying techniques and interventions from a Psychodynamic perspective, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
Nicole works with clients collaboratively to explore patterns and relationships of the past and present, while focusing and being aware of current problematic issues. This approach allows for an overall reduction in symptoms, personal growth and a balanced life today and moving forward.
