Kenneth Edwards is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He earned his M.A. in Clinical Psychology and is currently working towards his PhD in Business Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He has experience clinically working with adolescents and adults with issues such as anxiety, depression, adjustment to new environments, and interpersonal relationships.
Kenneth also has experience working with individuals in college settings, hospital settings, nursing homes, and independent care facilities. He has specialized training in working with LGBTQ and Latino and marginalized populations. Kenneth is currently a member of The Association of Black Psychologists and American Psychological Association. With a previous career in business and management, he has knowledge of career counseling and development. In addition, Kenneth has developed skills in giving classroom, educational, and conference presentations on a range of issues related to diversity, education and clinical psychology.
Kenneth practices from an integrative therapy approach that combines several modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and narrative therapy.
