Brigid Dagenfield believes in a multidimensional understanding of health and wellness, considering biological, psychological, and social factors that influence behavior. She works with individuals living with issues including but not limited to addiction, anxiety, self esteem, trauma, depression and other mood disorders.

Brigid earned her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School Medicine. She has worked as a therapist in both residential and outpatient treatment settings providing therapy for individuals living with substance abuse and comorbid mental health concerns, and also as a case manager at an Employee Assistance Program supporting individuals struggling with personal and work-related issues impacting their ability to function at their highest potential.

Brigid adopts a holistic, integrative approach to therapy, implementing techniques drawn from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Strengths-based modalities. She strives to empower her clients to discover and reclaim their capabilities, achieve a sense of well-being, and meet their therapeutic goals.
