Emily Franchi, MA | Therapist


Emily Franchi is a clinical mental health counselor. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Northwestern University and her Bachelor of Science in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Michigan. Emily aims to create an open and welcoming therapy environment where clients feel empowered to make positive changes in their personal lives and relationships. She will work with you to identify your strengths and to set goals of therapy that excite and motivate you. Emily bases her practice on an integrative framework incorporating psychodynamic,client-centered, and mindfulness-based theories, and will also utilize techniques from cognitive behavioral therapies to support therapeutic growth. She is experienced working with adult individuals struggling with a range of difficulties arising from depression, anxiety, PTSD and complex trauma, history of abuse and/or illicit substance use, and relationship issues.
