Dr. Rajwinder Khurana earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from UC Berkeley and received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Khurana has extensive experience treating adults struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, and stress. Additional areas of expertise include relationship conflict, trauma and PTSD, and identity/self-esteem issues. Dr. Khurana believes such issues can impact an individual’s sense of identity and is dedicated to assisting her clients in gaining more confidence in themselves.
Dr. Khurana uses an integrative and collaborative approach in therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. She also incorporates insight-oriented and client-centered therapies in order to support therapeutic growth.
She loves working with her clients to promote awareness of their thoughts and feelings, and identify patterns and problematic beliefs that interfere with developing good relationships with self and others. As therapy progresses, you will find yourself acting with greater intention and feeling more empowered and fulfilled!
